Cheng Yu Tung College Successfully Held the Second High Table Dinner

Cheng Yu Tung College successfully held the second High Table Dinner for this semester at night of April 12. The distinguished guest speaker of the High Table Dinner was Rector of University of Macao, Professor Zhao Wei. Other High Table guests included College Master of Cheng Yu Tung College, Professor Ling Chung, Chair of University Council of UM, Dr. Lam Kam Seng Peter, Consultant of the Research Centre for Sustainable Development Strategies of the Government of Macao SAR, the member of the Economic Development Committee of the Government of Macao SAR, and the member of the Chief Executive Selection Committee of Macao SAR, Mr. Ieong Tou Hong, President of Kiang Wu Nursing College, Professor Van Iat Kio, Vice Rector of University of Macao (Academic Affaires), Professor Ni Ming-Shuan (Lionel), Vice Principal of Hou Kong Middle School and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Macau, Ms. Chan Hong, Registrar of UM, Mr. Paul Pang, and College Fellow of Cheng Yu Tung College, Dr. Zhang Zexun. Other guests include Director of Human Resources Office of UM, Ms. Kuan Sio In (Leona), Assistant Principle and Academic Director of Macau Hou Kong Middle School, Mr. Zhou Ming, College Fellow of Cheng Yu Tung College, Dr. Zenon Arthur Siloran Udani, Assistant Professor of UM Faculty of Education, Dr. Wang Ping-Cheng (Dennis), Senior Information Executive of Communications Office of UM, Mr. U Wai Ip (Kelvin), and two students of Macau Hou Kong Middle School who were recipients of the University of Macau Grand Lotus Scholarship.

Rector Zhao talked his own studied and worked experiences in the U.S.A. He encouraged students to be with noble aspirations and global vision. More than 220 college members of Cheng Yu Tung College attended the High Table Dinner and listened to Rector Zhao’s speech.
