Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC) organized a series of charity sales from August 9 to August 27, 2023, during the new students move-in season. The products for the charity sale were daily essentials left behind by students who have graduated or moved out, exemplifying the value of environmental recycling. A total of MOP 10416.4 was raised thanks to the enthusiastic support of the students as well as their friends and family. The funds raised will be used to support future CYTC Service-Learning initiatives in Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province.
In accordance with Chinese Central Government policy, the Macau Government and the Central People’s Government Liaison Office provide collaborative assistance to the Revitalization of Rural Areas in Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province. CYTC also adheres to the Macau SAR policy. The Service-Learning program encourages residents to participate in voluntary work as a way of exercising our social responsibilities. Our students can get life-changing experiences by interacting with children and teachers from other regions and experiencing other traditional cultures through the program.
