Cheng Yu Tung College held its third High Table Dinner on 5 March. Professor Liu Liang was the honored guest speaker for the High Table Dinner. Professor Liu is the Rector of Macau University of Science and Technology and he is also a well-known scholar and Chinese medical doctor. His topic is “the Enchantment of Knowledge”; he shared his ideas about gaining knowledge and how knowledge can contribute to the society. He encouraged our students to pursue truth and knowledge and also described the hardship of his study during the Cultural Revolution. Another honored guest is a local Portuguese entrepreneur Mr. António Trindade who instills environment concepts into his enterprises. Other guests include the Director of the Lotus TV Macau, Li Zisong, the Vice Rector(administration) Dr. Lai Iat Long, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. SO Yuk-Chow, the Principal of Sheng Kung Hui Choi Kou School, Dr. Chan Chi Kwan, and other professors and heads from UM and the Chair of House Association of East Asia College.
